Another Controversy in creation by Media. Often, They put their inputs and make anything a news, but sometimes, Media seems to be reluctant to confirm facts. Reason is simple that they can’t really take risks of making few in government angry. After all, Media is a Business and indeed is biased.
So, Below is what Mr. Modi had said in reference to Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar.
There was a Congress leader who was a minister in Parliament. He was accused of amassing wealth from cricket. He had said in Parliament that he is not connected to the Rs 50 crore that in the lady’s name. Have you ever heard of Rs 50 crore girlfriend?
Now, People without understanding and unaware of facts, seems to make their own judgement. Many felt that, Narendra Modi shouldn’t have said this. Some said it’s insult to women or shouldn’t get personal like this in verbal attacks. And, Media sometime doesn’t help to represent facts.
During the IPL, there was a corruption in finalizing a purchase of Kochi Team. Where Sunanda Pushkar had got a share worth of 50 crore without any investment. Which seemed like somewhere Mr. Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar had influenced this Deal, making things easier for the group who wanted to buy IPL Team using political influence. She was in relationship with Mr. Tharoor than too. After the allegations of corruption, there was an investigation. Mr. Shashi Tharoor was not able to give proper explanation about why his girlfriend had got a big share for nothing!
This is why he was forced to resign and Lalit Modi was ousted from IPL. That time, Mr. Tharoor said that he was not involved in anything, nor he has anything to do with Sunanda Pushkar’s Deal. As usual, controversy died with time and faded out of most of the people’s mind. Now, Sunanda Pushkar is his Wife. IPL Team was dissolved later on.
So, Narendra Modi made a reference to Mr. Tharoor in this regard, which is a fact. But, Why all of sudden on him? Because Mr. Tharoor had taunted Mr. Modi about his Twitter Followers, that big number of followers doesn’t mean, they all agree with him.
All I can say is, obviously not all who follow him on twitter may agree with him. But, one thing I can agree with is, what he said was in reference to corruption by congress member. It’s not against all women of the country, nor he meant to disrespect. All he pointed out is, there is a member in congress, who was involved in a fishy deal along with Sunanda Pushkar (who is now his wife), for which he had to resign. Politically or Morally, What’s wrong in this?
